High resolution video and photos + high frame rate
The new HERO11 Black image sensor delivers 27MP quality photos, and 5.3K60 quality video footage with incredibly smooth motion. You can also export images in up to 24.7MP quality directly from your videos, using the GoPro Quik app. In addition, with the 2.7K240 resolution, you can record video in slow motion up to 8 times.

Horizon lock
Give your videos a touch of professional production, maintaining a stable and aligned horizon when using the HERO11 Black lens, which maintains the stability of your videos even when the camera rotates 360° during shooting (not available for videos in resolutions 5.3K60, 4K120, 2.7K240, 1080p). Combined with the HyperSmooth stabilizer, the horizon lock provides absolutely stable and straight videos. There is no longer a need for a gimbal or stabilization with the help of external software for quality results.
Rigidity and water resistance up to 10 meters
With toughness and water resistance up to 10 meters, HERO11 Black will stay with you on every adventure. It is impact resistant and built to continue shooting whether you are in mud, snow or water up to 10 meters deep. The lens cover is resistant to scratches and can be easily replaced if necessary.
Powerful battery
The groundbreaking Enduro battery comes with every HERO11 Black. Using advanced technology, the 1720mAh Enduro battery will dramatically improve camera performance in cold temperatures while extending recording times by up to 38% in moderate temperatures compared to previous GoPro cameras and batteries (tested with HERO11 Black camera and Enduro battery vs. HERO10 Black camera with standard battery, in temperature of 25°C). It will continue to work when you ski, snowboard, and other colder than ever temperatures. It also charges faster, so you'll spend less time waiting and more time shooting your adventures.
Over a million colors
HERO11 Black allows you to choose between 8-Bit or 10-Bit color depth. With richer video than a billion colors and smoother color gradations your videos will look more real and alive.
Digital HyperView lens
With a unique 8:7 aspect ratio digital lens made possible by our new image sensor, you can shoot in a wider 16:9 angle. This enables a particularly immersive video that increases POV segments with a shooting range that shows more of you and the surroundings.

The 8:7 aspect ratio captures more of the scene in each shot. The extra height makes it perfect for portraits in 16:9 or any other size for a social platform, with minimal need for cropping using the GoPro Quik app or any other editing software. The aspect ratio is also great for photos, making cropping and switching between the different formats even easier.
Rich color screens
Aim your shots perfectly with the pair of screens in front and back. Use the rear touch screen to aim the shot in front of you, or rotate the camera and use the front screen for vlogs and selfies. The front screen features a live preview with sharp details, while the quick touch controls on the rear touch screen make it easy to switch shooting modes and adjust settings on the fly.
New! Advanced night modes
HERO11 Black introduces three new time-lapse photography modes for the night, allowing you to shoot creatively even in the hours of darkness. Star Trails uses the rotation of the Earth and the stars to create spectacular light trails across the night sky. Light Painting will allow you to create brilliant brush stroke effects with moving light. Vehicle Light Trails uses the movement of vehicles and turns them into impressive video footage.
Easy-professional shooting modes
HERO11 Black includes a control option that allows you to choose between easy photo settings, and professional settings with full control over the photo data and the ability to adjust every mode and setting. The shooting settings in the easy mode have been set to suit most photographers and produce videos rich in color with smooth movement. Just aim the camera and press the shutter button for amazing results. The advanced shooting options will allow you to choose between preset shooting modes with the option to choose the best settings for your shooting (standard, activity, cinematic, slow motion, and more), along with the ability to adjust the shooting data and other camera features.
Adjust your camera
Add-on mods (sold separately) will allow you to adapt the GoPro camera to your shooting situations. Media Mod includes the option to connect a microphone with a 3.5 mm connection, an HDMI output for external monitors, and also 2 cold-shoe connections for connecting additional accessories. Want to light up the photo object? Light mod will illuminate the photo object in a subtle way so that it stands out against the background. Max Lens Mod You will provide an even wider shooting range - with 155˚.In addition, the MAX HyperSmooth digital stabilizer will provide even more stable shots.
Power Tools
Take photos the easy way with Power Tools. With HindSight the camera will shoot 30 seconds before pressing the shutter button, so you won't miss anything even if you press the shutter too late. You can schedule the activation of the camera up to 24 hours in advance, so that it will start taking pictures automatically. By defining the length of the photo, you will be able to choose clips from 15 seconds to 3 hours long.
Built-in screw mount
Bracket replacement in a few seconds, thanks to the folding screw bracket. There is no need for frames - just open the screw mount and connect the camera. All HERO9 Black and HERO10 Black accessories also fit the HERO11 Black.
Webcam and live streaming
Use the HERO11 Black as a webcam or live streaming camera to bring your action to the web, along with HyperSmooth video stabilization and sharp resolution.
Easy content transfer
Easy and fast, just transfer all the photos and videos you took from the camera directly to your smartphone wirelessly, or use a USB-C cable for faster transfer (a dedicated cable is required), or a card reader to transfer your content to a computer.
