Fast, flexible wired connections
Each unit features two 2.5 GbE ports for high-speed wired connections to compatible computers, game consoles, smart TVs and network storage devices. MLO-based backhaul can use wired and wireless links together to support a more robust connection between mesh units and help reduce latency.
Seamless mesh coverage
AI-driven mesh technology learns about your home’s network environment and helps devices move smoothly between Deco units under one network name. Enjoy a more continuous connection as you move from room to room, with intelligent network management adapting connections in real time.
Security, parental controls and smart-home support
TP-Link HomeShield provides network monitoring and security tools, including threat detection and parental controls. Manage access to websites and apps, apply SafeSearch settings and set daily screen-time limits. A dedicated IoT network with WPA3 encryption helps separate and protect compatible smart-home devices.
Router-level VPN support includes OpenVPN, PPTP and L2TP/IPSec, allowing supported devices to use a VPN connection without installing VPN software on each one. VPN and standard internet connections can operate at the same time.
