Computer and writing desks
Pick a desk by the width and depth your monitors and keyboard need, by the load the top takes and by whether you want height adjustment. An electric desk with position memory lets you alternate sitting and standing — for anyone at a computer all day that matters more than any chair. Here are desks for the home study and the office; gaming desks with lighting are in the Gaming section.
- Width: 120 cm for one monitor, 140–160 cm for two monitors or a monitor plus a laptop.
- Depth from 70 cm, so the monitor sits an arm's length away.
- Height adjustment: electric (sit/stand) or manual at assembly.
- Load: two monitors on an arm plus a PC tower is already 40–50 kg.
