With Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and AX3000-class performance, it offers combined wireless speeds of up to 2,976 Mbps: 2,402 Mbps on 5 GHz and 574 Mbps on 2.4 GHz.
Support for 160 MHz channels, 1024-QAM, MU-MIMO and OFDMA helps improve network capacity and efficiency, while Gigabit Ethernet provides a fast wired uplink. The EAP653 UR can support up to 250 concurrent users and is specified for coverage of up to 140 m², making it suitable for offices and other busy indoor spaces.
Centralised Omada Network Management
Integrated with the Omada SDN platform, the access point can be managed centrally through the cloud or its standalone web interface. Omada Essentials provides free cloud management without requiring a local server. Mesh networking and seamless roaming support help create a more consistent wireless experience across a wider network.
Flexible Installation and Power
Install the TP-Link EAP653 UR on a ceiling or wall, or use a junction box for a neat setup. Flexible power options include 802.3at PoE, 48 V passive PoE and 12 V DC, allowing the device to fit a range of installation requirements.
