The Aquaphor Crystal A is an advanced carbon filter system designed to improve the quality of municipally treated water. Engineered to effectively eliminate visible impurities such as sand, rust, silt, and high turbidity, this water filter is the ideal solution for ensuring clean and safe drinking water for your household.

This filter utilizes a multi-stage filtration process, starting with the K5 polypropylene cartridge, which serves to protect subsequent carbon cartridges from clogging. This feature helps significantly reduce maintenance costs, particularly in situations where the water supply contains mechanical impurities. The K2 cartridge filters particles down to 3 microns, while the K7 cartridge goes even further, trapping particles down to just 0.8 microns.

At the heart of the Crystal A system is the unique CarbFiber Block technology. This technology includes finely powdered activated coconut shell carbon combined with our patented Aquaphor microfiber absorbent ion-exchange material. The dense structure of these CarbFiber blocks enables the K2 and K7 cartridges to efficiently remove a range of contaminants—such as active chlorine, heavy metals like lead, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, and microplastics—commonly found in tap water.

For optimal performance, it is advisable to replace cartridges annually. However, in cases of significant pollution incidents affecting the water supply, earlier replacements may be necessary. The K5 cartridge should be changed every 3-6 months based on water turbidity levels.

Changing filters is a breeze, thanks to the Click&Turn technology, allowing you to switch cartridges easily and without the need for tools.
