Samsung WD90T6542BE Washing Machine
The Samsung WD90T6542BE combines washing and drying in one appliance, with intelligent features designed to make everyday laundry more convenient. AI technology learns your usage habits and helps tailor programmes to your needs, while EcoBubble helps clean effectively at lower temperatures. A quiet Digital Inverter motor and a choice of quick-care options make this washer-dryer a versatile addition to the home.
Key Features
- AI-powered washing: Learns your usage habits and adapts programme recommendations accordingly.
- EcoBubble technology: Creates a rich soapy foam to help dissolve dirt effectively at lower temperatures. The source states that it can save up to 25% on water and up to 70% on electricity, while helping protect fabrics.
- Digital Inverter BLDC motor: A brushless, carbon-free motor with a permanent magnet, designed for efficient and quiet operation.
- Super Speed: Wash up to 5 kg of lightly soiled laundry in 59 minutes.
- Cotton Extra Speed: Wash a full load of cotton laundry at temperatures up to 40°C in 87 minutes.
- Hygiene Steam: Uses steam to help neutralise bacteria and allergens, making it a useful option for baby clothes and laundry for people with allergies.
- AirWash: Refreshes and deodorises clothes with hot air, without water or detergent.
- AddWash: Add a forgotten garment or fabric softener during a cycle through the dedicated door. Pause the programme, open the AddWash door, add the item and resume from where you stopped.
- Automatic drying: Run a drying cycle after washing, with a cupboard-dry option. Dedicated programmes are available for cotton and synthetic garments.
- SmartThings and Q-Rator: Get personalised programme recommendations based on laundry type and soil level, monitor a wash remotely, save favourite programmes, review usage habits and track energy consumption. Remote monitoring is also available through a compatible Samsung smart TV.
- Diamond Drum: The specially designed drum helps remove dirt and stains while treating fabrics gently.
- Eco Drum Clean+: Cleans and sanitises the tub, drum and door seal, helping remove detergent residue, lint and mould without detergent.
- Smart Check: Helps detect and diagnose errors early, with troubleshooting guidance available through a smartphone app.
