This ceiling-mount access point uses Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) to deliver combined wireless speeds of up to 3,600 Mbit/s, with up to 2,882 Mbit/s on the 5 GHz band and 688 Mbit/s on 2.4 GHz. A 2.5G Ethernet port helps make the most of high-speed Wi-Fi performance.
Wi-Fi 7 performance and capacity
Features including Multi-Link Operation (MLO), OFDMA, EHT160 and 4K-QAM are designed to improve network efficiency and capacity. The EAP723 supports coverage of up to 140 m² and more than 250 concurrent users, making it suitable for busy environments that need dependable wireless access.
Centralised management with Omada SDN
Manage the EAP723 alongside compatible Omada routers, switches and access points through Omada SDN. The platform supports hardware, software and cloud-based management, including Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP). Free centralised cloud management is available through Omada Essentials, with secure access and storage on AWS servers.
Flexible deployment and network security
Support for Mesh and seamless roaming helps provide consistent connectivity as users move around a site. Security and access-control features include WPA3, Captive Portal, RADIUS and VLAN support. The access point can be installed on a ceiling, wall or electrical box.
